Oh, its not that bad. As in any country, it's only the bad things that get all the attention. Saying "I will never go to England" on the basis of reports like this is a bit like me saying "I will never go to America" because of the garbage that spews out of Washington D.C., almost everything that goes on in Ithaca (CofE) and pictures of San Francisco's gay pride parade.
It so happens that an awful lot of Brits us disagree very fundamentally with this decision, which at best is encouraging a kind of intellectual apartheid - "against our shared values" indeed! What kind of justification is that?
