Any aggressive movement to stop this bill from happening has to occur NOW. If we wait, then it will be too late. Rule of law will prevent ever going back on this, until we are outnumbered and then rule of law will not matter. We will get screwed because we play by the rules. The other side doesn’t. The only way out of this mess is to stop playing by the rules.

Someone said burn it down and start over. You can only do that when you control the matches. Wake up the matches are being removed from your hand. It must happen now.

Ergo - this is why the GOP is a loser on this issue. The RAT legal staff runs circles around the GOP's staff. Hewitt had John Hoven (holds MBA, not a lawyer) on for an interview about the fence yesterday and he said he listened to his lawyer who promised him the fence HAD to be built according to the Corker-Hoven Amendment. Hewitt tore him a new one. The sponsor of the bill and his staff do not even understand it, AND are trusting of Big Sis building the fence against all historic evidence to the contrary.
