Where did the police find the phone? I had read somewhere that it was closed and in TM’s pocket - which would throw Jeantel’s statement into doubt - would suggest he prepared himself for the encounter with GZ.
Or maybe it was the earbuds were in his pocket, where the phone had been all along.
Finding phone and earbuds on the ground would be consistent with her statement.
There ought to be some correlation between when the phone call ended and when the 911 calls began - too much time and Jeantel’s testimony becomes dubious.
The SINGLE best outcome for this case would be for the parents of Trayvon to hold a press conference and say “after hearing the evidence we see that our son did something wrong and we regret all these events that have taken place”
Then George Z stands up and says “I am happy I was vindicated in court but I am tru;ly sorry I had to use my gun and the pain it caused trayvon’s parent”
Then both parties go home and respectfully stay out of the spotlight, and all is resolved peacefully as sanity takes hold.
And then the media wander in circles unable to process this sequence of events until their heads explode.
