This much we already know: marriage is hanging by a thread in America. It suffered a setback today at the Supreme Court, and those responsible for these attacks will be coming after every remaining state that refuses to abandon the truth of marriage. We must have their back. We must go on offense.

Our opponents are going to be more determined than ever after today. We need to match their determination, and resolve to never again let this type of thing happen to any other state or jurisdiction in our beloved country.

Proposition 8 was set aside for lack of standing to defend.

Future lawsuits will be filed in federal court, from other states, charging that state amendments on marriage are illegal under federal law. This was the core isse which the Supreme Court side stepped, which is, is a state allowed to define marriage in the traditional manner? For now, the 37 states which only allow traditional marriage have their laws in place. But for how long?

Why do liberals force their issues through the courts like this? Then some liberals say gay marriage is no big deal, but these same liberals are working hard to force everyone to define marriage as any two people. For an issue which some liberals say isn’t a big deal, they sure are trying to force it on everyone.

“Why do liberals force their issues through the courts like this? “

Because that is where they can win. By contorting law, parsing phrases, and utilizing well-placed agents, they can use a relatively few people in the judicial branch to bend that branch to their will. No messy voting, no intervention from the electorate. A few dry pages of drivel, and bang- evil triumphs.
