...the town population was 7,300 while the number of guns was more than 9,400

The only guns that are currently required to be registered in CT are handguns. So HANDGUNS outnumber the population. If the govt only knew what the long gun count was to go along with that they'd pee themselves.

Question about CT law. ATF says you can build you own non-transferable pistol and or rifle. There is no serial number requirement. So is it illegal to own an non-serial numbered pistol in CT?
