The bottom line is that a dim-witted perjurer could NOT READ AT ALL. Look at her testimony on the previous day when she is handed typewritten exhibit after exhibit and clearly has NO idea what they say. "I can't read cursive" is baloney. She can't read, and the defense clearly knew this when they asked her to read the letter she'd supposedly written.
The fact that she supposedly wrote that letter, but can’t read it, is very damning testimony.
It’s funny that this article is focused on the subject of reading cursive, rather than the fact that this girl lied. She either had to be lying about writing the letter, or lying about not being able to read it.

You’re right. If you’ve ever met someone in those circumstances, it is really sad. Growing up around crackers, I always assumed everyone could read; only when I was older did I realize that one of them couldn’t.
