The problem is not immigration, it’s the welfare state.
We’ve always let immigrants in, legal and illegal as long as they were not a welfare burden. Therefore they had to have a skill or a family support mechanism.
Once we got away from this, immigrants mainly of the illegal kind; became a problem. We need to disenfranchise long term welfare case loads.
As for Republicans, ask the question: why can’t the party attract Asians? Here’s a minority that contibutes more than they take, but vote Democratic. Why is that?
I asked my Filipino right-wing bud about that. He tells me he couldn’t even stand reading the Flip’ weeklies as it’s wall to wall immigration BS.
I’ll TELL you why that is. Asians fall right in with Blacks, Hispanics, liberal whites and every other non-white group who thinks the GOP & conservatives are racist....that’s why. Until we can stop this massive LEGAL & ILLEGAL immigration we are going to lose this culture.
