They may be an older party but they became a vital threat when 1960s radicals (mostly red diaper baby Communists) took the party over in the guise of the New Left.

What we've seen since is a classic Communist seizure of power: class division, divide-and-conquer strategies (exploitation of racism, feminism: men vs. women, young vs. old, etc., etc.), 24/7 media propaganda, indoctrination of the young (especially the universities), the use of environmentalism as a tool to sidetrack capitalist enterprise and use of natural resources, the promotion of family breakdown, sexual libertinism, abortion, homosexuality, pornography -- and much else.
