Media inciting hate, race war with Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case

I am in the camp that believes no matter the outcome, the blowback will occur, the media has ensured that.

I stay away from public gathering places such as cities, malls, etc. anyway. And I have instructed my daughter to do the same and be very aware when this verdict is announced. It’s basic situational awareness, something I always try to teach her..and my friends. I remember the Rodney King days. So many just aren’t aware of simple things going on around them that could spare them.

Riots will occur if Zimmerman is acquitted. Count on it.

The media will be astonished and blame white racism as the cause and give the rioters absolution.

They will reject the facts that the MSM have made this thing into a national issue with their hasty rush to judgement and biased reporting of the facts and circumstances (such as the picture of Trayvoy as a 12 y.o.) in the early days.

They will take no responsibility for the mess they have created.

The media focused on the race factor BUT the NAME “ZIMMERMAN”. gated community, community patrol.etc. conjured up a White Jew. Now they’re stuck with the race issue

Like I said, they need to acknowledge it, correct it and apologize for it.

Beyond that, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on this. I've occasionally, for laughs, turned on the closed-captioning feature while watching TV. If the amount of discrepancies between what's being said and typed isn't funny enough, the constant backspacing and retyping certainly is.

I also recall when one of the news orgs scrolled a caption saying that the space shuttle Columbia was going 80 times the speed of light when it disintegrated. And that's the most prominent of scroll errors that I can recall. There have been lots of others.

I guess you’re a more generous person than I am. My supply of benefit-of-the-doubt for the FedMob and the MSM has run out completely and I’m not ordering any more of it. All I have left is a little patience to wait for the day they are all put up against the wall.

An added benefit to where I happen to live is that there's a LOT of big money wealth (both old and new) between the city core and me. If there's a breakout from the core in my direction a lot of them are going to be slowed down (probably even halted) staking claim to the McMansions, cabin cruisers, etc ... and then fighting with each other over "ownership" of them. THEN they reach the two bridges.

Sort of. For me its Occam's razor and whether the high school GED who's sitting at the board trying to rapidly type up and input the scroll is actually smart enough to manipulate it in one direction or another. IOW I'm choosing incompetence (at least for this case) over evil intent ;-)

While I was watching the trial coverage on HLN yesterday, I saw an ad for a new movie about how a white BART cop in SF accidentally shot an unarmed black teenager and killed him. It comes out on July 12. There is no way the timing is just a random coincidence.

While some blacks may die from riots which follow a not guilty verdict, I think in the long run more blacks would dies as a result of a guilty verdict.

While a not guilty verdict would cause rioting and some deaths in the short run, it would send the message that Trayvon had caused his own death through his hostile confrontation of George Zimmerman.

Conversely, a guilty verdict would send the message that Trayvon was justified in his hostility toward Zimmerman, and that other, young black men who have chronic rage toward whites and toward society in general should likewise feel justified. Ultimately, it is this unhealthy anger - fueled by the race hustlers, liberals, and a justice systems which often excuses it - which by far is the greater cause of death among blacks in our country.
