He doesn’t seem to be reading the polls. Americans just don’t believe this garbage any more, and it’s not their highest priority. It’s not even their lowest priority. It’s off the radar.
This kind of focus on his part demonstrates that ideology trumps all.

No, he’s reacting to the polls. Jobs and prosperity are not in the future under his commissars, so he has to throw out red herrings (like “war on women” - which apparently worked well twice). Expect more of the same leading up to elections in the future; Dems can’t run on a strong economy or job market.
