They said our son had ADD in 3rd grade and wanted to put him on Ritalin. Mr. M asked what percentage of children have ADD and the school counselor said 49% of boys. Mr. M said, “Then it’s normal.” We dealt with it with out drugs. A little adrenalin maybe but only what his body produced naturally.

We dealt with it with out drugs. A little adrenalin maybe but only what his body produced naturally.We were confronted with a similar situation with our daughter and drugs were strongly recommended. We fought and changed schools. Her GPA went up 2 points the first marking period and she was happy.
Some teachers are simply psychotic masochists who want to feast on the self esteem of children. Others actually teach.
