Franken then add in Dayton and Jesse, how would you ever know where stupidity stopped and vote fraud started? Does have a bit of a “pattern” sound, wouldn’t you say?

Except Jesse won the election in a landslide.
The DFL candidate, Skip Humphrey, was so far left, even the Dems were uncomfortable with him.
The Republican, Norm Coleman, had been a Democrat until shortly before his return to Minnesota. GOPers in MN weren’t sure about Coleman’s bone fides and many of these votes went to Ventura who sounded conservative.
Then, about six months after he was elected, something in Jesse’s brain short circuited and he threatened to kill a Star Tribune reporter.
Folks knew they’d made a big mistake...

Folks in the rest of the country knew Minnsoter made a mistake as soon as they elected Jesse, didn’t take 6 months to know how that was going to work out.
I was never a fan of Governor Turnbuckle but I will say this about him.
On the night of the Paul Wellstone Funeral and Dance Party, Ventura, as Governor of Minnesota, got up and walked off the stage. I do give him props for that.
