Facebook is the bastion of the low information voter. I’ve tried posting conservative links and sentiments and it’s met with crickets chirping. My “friends” are overwhelmingly Marxist, I’ve learned. Facebook unexpectedly ostracized this conservative.
I de-active my profile in 2009. I reactivated it some months later on request from some friends(we’ve moved to different states so FB and email are how we contact each other now).
Baloney. My friends and I are among the best informed people out there. I quit watching tv news many years ago. I am smart enough to find sites with real news. You do not have the right kind of friends if most are Marxist. You can unfriend them, you know. I have had 2 friends who were dems and we are no longer friends. The rest are Christian conservatives. I am not even sure how many I have but guess it is around 300. When unknown people want to be friends I just say no. The site is as good as you make it.
You choose your own Facebook friends. If you chose to "friend" Marxists, that is your decision; Facebook management didn't foist them on you. I have very few FB friends who are liberal, and those few who are liberals only discuss pets or family with me. My conservative FB friends and I have a lot of interesting discussions of political issues. Some of them are Freepers and we post articles we see here on FR for everyone's edification.
Are we on two different Facebook’s?
Admittedly, I don’t use it often, but when I do, I post things that concern Conservatives: gun rights, poor government, etc.
I’ve never had a post removed.
