You know what I find interesting is that nobody mentions the possibility that Trayvon was attempting to rob Zimmerman,. After all beating up a victim is used quite often in robberies.

I ask myself this: If I was coming back from a store walking home and someone was following me in their car (assuming that driving down a road could be construed as ‘following’ and not looking for an address), would I run or stop and stare at this person then walk around their car while it was stopped then wait for the person (who was by themselves) to exit so I may attempt to beat them to death?
No, he was robbing him. That’s why Zimmerman stated Trayvon walked around his car. He did so to see if he was alone. He saw him as a mark and made the attempt only he failed.

Many years I told someone I worked with and who was black that I liked Aunt Jemima and thought she was cute. You should have heard her. It was like as if I said the worst thing I could ever say. She called me a racist. I saw Aunt Jemima as a loving human being.
Do you remember the case of Tawana Brawley? It was the cases where Rev Al Sharpton made his bones in the ‘civil right movement.’
Even after it was all found to be an undeniable fraud, the race baiters justified it as “it could have been.” The Brawley case was then cast by the same race baiter as symbolic of the oppression of blacks at the hand of white cops, blah blah blah.
The NY prosecutor defamed by Sharpton/Brawley sued them and won several hundred thousand dollar judgments that as far as I know have never been paid. Sharpton, now a TV star and former candidate for the U.S. Senate (and presidencey?) has significantly increased his financial worth since the Brawley case. Brawley herself was finally served papers to garnish her salary to pay damages to that prosecutor for the judgement won so long ago.
She knows damn well what she is saying and doing...this whole dumb act is one big show put on by the prosecution. I do think she is stupid in general but the whole cursive and didn’t know cracker is racist blah blah blah garbage...come on.
Your co-worker likely never knew AJ never existed, as a real human being. AJ was co-opted to sell a mill product and was really a White dude in blackface who performed in minstrel shows.
Some folks see ‘’racism’’ wherever they can concoct it. It gives meaning to their empty and worthless existences. They are defined by it, become it and it warms their twisted hearts.
