Anti-government protesters set the national headquarters of the ruling Muslim Brotherhood ablaze after throwing petrol bombs and exchanging gunfire with guards.

Brotherhood spokesman Gehad El-Haddad said he was in contact by telephone with staff at the compound on a rocky plateau overlooking Cairo, who told him its fortified perimeter had not been penetrated. A Reuters journalist saw flames licking out of upper-storey windows.

NYT crowd estimate? Probably "hundreds" of people protesting the radical Islamic govenment.

Note that Obama assisted in the overthrow of the secular leader Mubarek.
Obama assisted in the installation of a Muslim Brotherhood government.
Now the Egyptian people are clarly expressing disatisfication with that Muslim Brotherhood government.

Question: Will Obama send riot control resources to prop up the MB?

Many sources have reported the US has sent 400 riot-control troops to help prop up Morsi.

That’s in addition to US troops that have long been in the Egyptian Sinai.

Question: Will Obama send riot control resources to prop up the MB?

That's my fear. He sent a group of US military there last week just for that purpose.

Well, if you read their signs and interviews with them, not to mention their parties or religious affiliations, I think it’s pretty clear that they’re opposed to the MB (which is fighting back hard, btw, in areas outside of Cairo and will probably become more aggressive today).

Morsi is about to teach Hosni Mubarak how oppression and mass slaughter is done.
