Right, all so aware; yet, there they are thinking ‘this the right thing to do’ and with their children. Amazing how evil can draw them in so easy for they, obviously, stand firm for nothing.

Americans over the past fifty years have embraced widespread drug use, fornication and sexual deviation of all sorts, pornography, abortion, expectation of endless entitlements, lack of personal responsibility and accountability,and a loss of a work ethic. In short the reasonable social consensus that is a fundamental necessity for a Republic is basically gone. America is in decline.
Congress need to just institute the “Fair Tax”, thereby removing ALL federal benefits for ALL married couples, and the SCOTUS decision would be for naught.
The quickest way to stop a tug of war is for one side to let go of the rope.
That will solve nothing. This is a moral problem, not financial.

The moral side of it has to do with individuals, not government. The SCOTUS ruling was about extending federal benefits to those gays in states where gay marriage has been “legalized”.
Insofar as liberals don’t do anything without someone else’s money involved, removing the marital tax benefit would affect it.
My wife and I are not any less married because of the lavender lobby. We’ve been married for almost 40 years, and that is the morality of it. The government cannot legislate or regulate morality except in one of two ways...criminalize it, or control it with the tax code.
Churches shiver in their pews for fear of losing their tax exemption should they speak up about the government. They gay lobby is forcing their hand by seeking federal approval of their behavior. That “approval” has just been implied by the govt via the SCOTUS ruling.
So long as the gays can benefit from our tax dollars, the more they will demand.
The moral side is whether or not society accepts it, not the govt. the govt is just shoring up their voter base, as power is what this is about.

That is what is going to make the country fall, because ultimately it is about morals. Simply instituting a tax regime change will not cause a return to morality, and it certainly will not prevent a country’s collapse.

My question is, as all this settles into place, why would any self-respecting, conservative potential Presidential even WANT to preside over this disaster that is modern-day New Amerika?

This past weekend was a virtual disease petri dish. Expect a steep spike in HIV, Syphilis and meningitis contractions.
I know the MSM loves those stories... and gays love those stories - I’m just not sure why so many are posted here...
