Reminds me of something I overheard while in Tel Aviv some years ago. Someone at a diplomatic reception suggested that a completely neutral third country peace keeping force, comprised of Maoris or Fijians be sent to the Golan, Sinai, and Gaza. A drunken American diplomat attending the cocktail party completely dismissed the idea by shouting “YOU CAN’T DO THAT! WHY, THEY’LL JUST END UP KILLING AND EATING EVERYONE THERE!” Could have heard a pin drop.
If you look they don’t allow any Muslim countries to supply UN Peacekeepers to Israel’s borders. They are all from places like, Fiji, the Phillipines, Austria, Sweden, etc.
