and is expected to be a key witness for the prosecution. ...
O'Mara: Waht did you think when Zimmerman said he was glad there was a recording of the incident?

Serino: That he was either a pathological liar, or he was telling the truth.

O'Mara: Did anything that Zimmerman did or said to you in the course of your interviews cause you to thing that he is a pathological liar?

Serino: No, I think Zimmerman was telling the truth.

ROTFL. Key witness for the prosecution, which claims it will prove Zimmerman is a liar. And the witness says he thinks Zimmerman is telling the truth. The other SPD witnesses have said the same thing, they believe Zimmerman.

-- And not one commentator that I've heard has mentioned this fact. --

Just keep in mind that everything the press reports follows this formula. If you watch the trial, and read the reports, you can see the disconnect.

That same disconnect plays in "reports" (fiction tales) other than about the Zimmerman trial.

The press is worse than useless.

Serino didn't charge, he can't. He not only had nothing to charge, he had nothing to support an arrest.

So, Serino makes up a bogus crime, and sends his investigation report to the prosecutor (who can charge). The reason Serino's "should charge" recommendation is bogus is that it is based on "Zimmerman could have avoided the incident by staying in his truck." The prosecutor, Wolfinger, had empaneled a grand jury for April 10, 2012. Serino sent his report to Wolfinger a month earlier, March 13, 2012.

Crump and the press whip up a public frenzy. They call for Wolfinger's head, via total lies (that Wolfinger had met with SPD and said "don't charge Zimmerman"). The politicians got involved.

The Florida attorney General, Pam Bondi, is a friend of Ben Crump. She advised Governor Scott which outside prosecutor should come in to take over investigation and whatever that might produce.

Governor Scott appointed Angela Corey, who has shown herself to be a sociopath and totally corrupt. It was Corey and de la Rionda and that cast of characters who used the power of the state to ruin Zimmerman. The judge is helping as much as she can. Corey disbanded the grand jury.

Anyway, don't blame Serino. He put "underpants gnome" in the package he sent to the state attorney, and figures that would get the heat off him, off SPD (it recommended a charge), and transfer the heat to the state attorney and the grand jury.

freebilly,
I lived in the San Fernando Valley for 17 years 3 decades ago and owned pistols and rifles at the time with little or NO problem.
How is it to own a firearm today?
Is it legal?

In the world of journalism, a shotgun is a rifle and “he had a gun in the chamber.”

I live in Lake County (2 hrs northeast of San Francisco or 2 hours northwest of Sacramento. Guns are legal, but getting a CCW permit is more difficult. Right now the big problem is getting ammo.

“But how can you possibly figure out who threw the first punch?” Costello asked.

Considering the fact that TM's autopsy revealed bruised knuckles and there is no indication of bruised knuckles on GZ, just gashes on the back of his head and face, any idiot should know exactly what happened!

here they encourage you to get a CCW if you meet the requirements.
Not a felon or a crazy or illegal and I think they frown on you carrying if you also are on psychotropic drugs etc.

Did you see the video that GZ made? HE is out in the open. Do not see how TM could sneak up on him. Did you see the cuts on GZ head? They are on the top of his head. You would think they would be on the back of his head, not the top. IF TM had him pinned on the ground, hitting him, in the dark, how could he have seen GZ gun?
