The vast majority of conservatives I know say that if the House rolls over on amnesty, they are done with the Republican party forever. Now, you may say that these same people will come back and vote GOP. NOT this time! They know amnesty will wreck our country and they are red hot pissed! I have never seen anger as palpable as this. Nothing even comes close.
I agree. “The Fix is in “. The house will appear to have a bill to secure the border. That will go to conference . Amnesty will then be first and then watered down promises of secure borders. Then Boehner will work for a “bipartisan” agreement to pass the bill. He will not have to dump the hastert rule if he secretly backs the discharge petition.
