We were watching the news the night it happened, and heard from multiple eyewitnesses that night. I call bullshit on this. These people are covering their butts. They really have no choice.

I was living in the NYC area and the local media were all over this story moments after it happened.
The number of eyewitnesses cannot be discounted so easily. There is also a military pilot who has seen missiles in combat, who was flying that night and testified he saw a missile.
The amount of evidence that is discounted “out of hand” is troublesome.

Me too and I remember it like it was yesterday. I'm not sure if the missle was an errant launch by the navy who was active in the area that night (highly unlikelu IMO) or if it was a deliberate terrorist attack (I'd bet the ranch) but I know that immediately following the crash people were coming forward...within an hour of the crash...claiming to have seen a light streak from the surface to the plane just before the plane exploded.
