What a relief! It's good to know that this is just the sort of accident that can happen any time you get on a plane and the vapors become overheated. I'm surprised that cars don't blow up on the highways all the time... especially since gasoline is so much more flammable than kerosene.

IINM, they tried many times and couldn’t ignite kerosene vapors to recreate it.
