False.

After his conversation with the dispatcher, GZ checked on the location and was returning to his vehicle when Trayvon Martin intercepted him, punched GZ in the face and leapt on the smaller man.

You missed “falls short of proving” just before it, unless you’re referring to the usual lie (”decision to ignore”).
