I hope there’s bigger names than this on his hit list. I just ordered it on Kindle.

The Washington Post joined with the LA Times and the NY Times in a blockbuster lawsuit against FR several years ago — multi millions of $$$. The settlement is the reason we have posting restrictions and Moderators.

"Washington Post is suing FR????????????"

That was a long time ago, and is settled. It was a "fair use" dispute.

I suppose it is the NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times vs FreeRepublic — or maybe vs Jim Robinson personally. We collected a lot of money here to defend JR about 10 years ago and a lot of talented attorneys gave their time in defense. Much of the case was dismissed, but we had to agree to not publish articles from certain news organs.

There is a lengthy list of news organizations at the top of the posting page that tells us all of the news corporations with restrictions.

Funny thing, other news commentary sites get away with posting from these same places without complaint. I’m told that the difference is that we keep archives. But, we try to play by the rules in this house.

I don’t click on the Washington Post nor the NYT. When I want Leftwing globalist propaganda, I will start clicking. I know what they are going to say before even reading their dim witted liberal garbage. I’ll read about this book elsewhere.
