Hamas operatives arrested with explosives in Cairo.. Muslim Brotherhood proxies plot retaliation

TEL AVIV — Seven members of Hamas were arrested in Cairo after being caught with explosive-laden cars meant to be used in a series of attacks in Egypt, according to a senior Egyptian intelligence official speaking to WND.

The official said the Hamas gunmen were working in conjunction with members of the Muslim Brotherhood pending a decision by leaders within the Islamist group to order attacks in retaliation for the military’s ouster of Mohamed Morsi as president following days of massive popular protests.

Add Assad to that and you spell the end of Hamas and the Brotherhood.

Assume the Egyptian Army decides it has had enough of this pit of vipers. So, the Egyptian Army coordinates a joint series of combat operations to eliminate the dual threats of Hamas in Gaza and the Muslim Brotherhood for all time.

A wonderful but improbable outcome, at least where the MB is concerned. I heard it stated that the MB has 30% popularity in Egypt. That's a big minority to trace and suppress. More likely the army will make some examples rather than cure the cancer.
