The shooting lead the big 4th parade to be rerouted, which in turn lead directly to ‘Utter chaos’ as man crushed by antique firetruck at Independence Day parade

Small town America in the 21st century.

Bangor has become one of the biggest cesspools in Maine. Every corner is occupied by bums asking for money. Bath-salt is the drug of choice by many...90% of the neighborhoods are trashed and house the biggest group of white-trash you’ll ever see. There is no hope for Bangor....it soon will be lost to the crackheads.

No wonder Stephen King left town...typical liberal. He was a big campaigner for the democrat scum that have done this to Maine. Wonder if this boy is Somali?

Well if he had stayed in Detroit and fired off his gun who would have noticed it was the 4th?

Back in 1998 either Fortune or Money magazine (forget which) rated Bangor one of the best small cities in America to raise families in. Less than twenty years later the changes are almost unreal.

What has changed?

How about three methadone clinics and an entitlement class drawn like flies to the dung heap. The "benefits" handed out by the city and state boggle the mind.

There are plans afoot to "rehab" (read bulldoze) some of the more blighted areas, 1st and 2nd Streets and lower Ohio around Leadbetters.

Bath salts were pretty much a passing fad whose allure has faded rapidly. This nit-wit and his random shooting will turn the heat up on Amish crack dealers "from away", there already having been several high profile rings busted that have included both New Yorkers and local white trash.

Bangor is now at the tipping point and things could go either way, upward and onward or Liberal sinkhole.

AFAIK, King still owns the property on West Broadway... both houses.

New Yorkers and local white trash are getting to be a real problem in Red Hampshire, as well...they intimidate and harrass the natives, and they are getting ‘fed up’.

...was not aware of that. He could have a couple of ‘white elephants’ on his hands if Bangor continues to ‘go south’.

That story of the tractor driver getting killed by the antique fire truck -— they mention a “young man” driving the truck -— there was a reason truck drivers used to be “big and tough” — no power steering or brakes if you stall. You should always have the biggest, healthiest, most experienced men driving old trucks like that.
