They have assaulted his character, his reputation, his integrity.....put his family in fear for their lives.....and he's a young man.
Where does he go to live the rest of his life if acquitted?
And what about George's uncle.....by all accounts, including a local attorney making commentary on the trial who knows this uncle for years, is an upstanding man......where does he go to regain his respect for a country that could do this to his nephew?----a country he served in the military for 26 years.
What is right is wrong, what is wrong is right.....the Bible said it would be as such in the last days.
I would like to see that prosecutor have his nose broken, his head slammed against concrete and multiple punches to the face by someone sitting on him and see if he considers it “insignificant”.

I agree with most that despite the prosecution claim of minimal injuries, being pinned down and attacked could create a reasonable fear, specially when he called for help for more than 30 seconds and no one came to his aide. Throw this into a whole new level of fear when you realize you have a gun and he reaches for it. that certainly supports his fear. I would also add to the defense that if I am being pounded on by guy screaming for his life that it was reasonable to believe he was crazy asailant and presented an eminent threat to my life ;)
I think Zimmerman thought Martin was a suspicious character and he followed him - something he should not have done. He should have called the dispatcher immediately.
I think Martin was not up to no good, just walking through the neighborhood when he realized he was being followed by a strange guy and he also acted imprudently,waylaying him and jumping him.
Two hot heads made a tragedy.
