Romney was well and truly the end of the two party system. If you really look at him he is Obama, politically speaking. Sure he wrapped his rhetoric up in something different: business (actually crony capitalism) instead of change (actually revolution)... but they are both very much socialists and statists. Both are proponents of abortion, socialized medicine, homosexual marriage and judicial activism.
