Yes, even more so than oxygen. I've heard the most ridiculous arguments from them, like planting trees creates more oxygen which they think somehow negates CO₂. Well, no it doesn't. Oxygen is simply a waste product of plants. And they don't know about the carbon cycle which scrubs CO₂ from the air naturally. They don't know that in geologic history, CO₂ is at an extreme low. When backed into a corner and forced to argue their belief in human-caused global warming, however, they always resort to "Scientists say so. What are you, anti-science?". They don't know the science behind it themselves, however.

And of course they're completely oblivious to the political and financial motivations behind the entire global warming scam. They say there is a "consensus", that 98% of scientists agree. That's a BS statistic, by the way. The only reason they don't say 100% is to give it a semblence of realism. The chief climatologist in my state was fired by the liberal governor for the sole reason that he didn't believe in global warming. But his opinion doesn't count, of course.
