Education Secretary Michael Gove yesterday declared war on the “utterly outrageous and medieval” use of the word “gay” as an insult. He will study current laws to ensure they are “properly policed” and could even “sharpen” them in a bid to stamp out offensive homophobic language.
Mr. Gove told a conference held by pressure group Stonewall that the Coalition was determined to protect gay pupils from being subjected to homophobic bullying at school. He said that it was unacceptable to use the word “gay” as abuse and named and shamed former Radio One Breakfast Show DJ Chris Moyles.
Mr. Moyles was branded Stonewall’s “Bully of the Year” at their annual awards ceremony in 2006 after he dismissed a ringtone, saying: “I don’t want that one; it’s gay.” …

Anyway, it’s “gay” to be overly concerned about the use of “gay.” As a matter of fact 10-1 a guy that concerned about it, is, face it, bottom gay.

With blacks, it was the N word and they decided didn’t like that; they demanded to be called “black”. Then they decided they didn’t like that and demanded to be called “African American”. When will they make a new decree?
With Asians, first wanted to be called “oriental”, then they decided they didn’t like that and now demand to be called “Asian”. When will THEY make a new decree?
Trouble is... The P.C. Police never sends a memo to inform the population of the new rules. Someone just pulls a new one from his/her ass and everyone is supposed to know by some kind of mind meld. It’s ridiculous.
I’m offended by the word “homophobic”. It implies that I am afraid of queers. I am not afraid of them, I am disgusted by them.
I do not describe homosexuals as “gay.” Instead, if I must discuss their disorder, I describe them as homosexual. Why should a perfectly useful word be perverted?
How about sodomite?
They don’t do it because they they’re really offended-if they really cared about the feelings of people being offended, they wouldn’t use the terms “cracker” and “breeder” in describing whites and heteros, respectively. They do it to exert their power over whites and normal people, which is why they change the PC terms every so often. What good is power of they don’t flex their muscles now and thn to remind us that they have it?
I am disappointed, but not very surprised, to hear this from Gove. Not surprised, because I no longer expect anything good from any government official whatsoever. I’m usually not disappointed, and if I’m ever wrong, it’ll be all to the good. You can hardly go wrong by being cynical these days.
Feel free to select any or all of these. Just don't call them "gay."
Why do they call themselves “gay”, but if you don’t agree with them you are a
“homophobe”. Shouldn’t that be “gayphobe”??
It’s important to use the word homosexual when talking about the disorder.

To me, it is like the rainbow. I used to look at a rainbow drawing or flag with perception that was completely different from what it is now. That angers me.
Now we have JC Penny being an advocate of the homosexual lifestyle. I walked through the store with my wife today, and she wanted to buy me something there. I told her if she want, she can buy stuff there, but I don't want anything from that store, and I don't shop there anymore.
General Mills has decided to go full out and be advocates for homosexuality with their campaign to have Lucky Charms as the celebratory cereal for homosexuals by saying: "We’re celebrating Pride month with whimsical delight, magical charms, and two new rainbow marshmallows. . . . If you’re lucky enough to be different, we’re celebrating you.”
I will not knowingly purchase or consume any more of their products, and I purchase and consume a lot of them.
In the past, I didn't care what two people did. Not my business. Their business. I figured they would need to explain themselves when their time on this earth was done, but But they have gone out of their way to MAKE it my business by SHOVING it in my bloody face, so...it IS MY DAMN BUSINESS NOW.

I never use the phony term gay. Its homosexual or pervert I believe in honesty and truth.
