Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) on Sunday said the U.S. could use its foreign aid package for Egypt as “leverage” to push the country back to democracy, days after the military ousted elected President Mohamed Morsi. Menendez did not call for suspending aid, but said it could help “ensure we end up with an Egypt for all” by pressing the military to transition quickly back to civilian rule and free elections.

Obama doesnt understand democracy..... at all. Not even its Christian based infrastructure which gave us the root, the Magna Carta which was the foundation for all rights, freedom , liberty etc etc. What he does know is he needs to change the basic constitution to take away all the thing entrenched in the advantages vested in the MAgna Carta and replace it with something from Sharia/s. If you replace it with a lesser philosophy, then it’s another tool for the destruction of the rights we have learned to love.
Let alone the fact it allowed us advance beyond all other cultures.

What is this compulsion by our idiot politicians, including various Presidents especially since Carter, to try to democratize other countries?
The US would be much better off internally if our treasure was spent here instead of paying it to despots and terrorists in other countries.
Leave those other countries alone and let them find their own path to the way THEY want to live! Only intervene in a situation when it’s obvious a country is attempting to harm America; then, do it with sufficient force to ensure it wont happen again.
