Russia would love nothing better than to impugn the rebels in a manner that would result in waning support for their efforts in overthrowing Assad. Creating a scenario in which it was claimed the rebels using nerve gas would be the perfect approach towards achieving such an objective.

Everything Churkin has said regarding the authenticity of the nerve gas allegedly used is qualified in some way that has them being able to claim it was nerve gas without it being nerve gas used conventionally.

*The samples taken from impact site was analyzed in Russian lab certified by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (as if it really means anything)
*Admits it wasn't a military standard weapon.
*He said the samples indicated the sarin and the projectile were produced in makeshift "cottage industry".

The claim by the Russians that the rebels are using gas seems not to meet the necessary standards for credibility, outright, irrefutable proof.

So we are reduced to determining who is a bigger liar: Putin or Obama.

Don’t tell Obastard. He has already made up his story and he is sticking to it.

Well, that settles it. We need to provide weapons to the forces fighting against Syrian Rebels. Right, Senator Juan?

By the same token, the Syrian opposition wants to impugn the Syrian government. If a group of radicals felt it was Allah’s will to sacrifice a few human beings to homemade sarin gas for strategic advantage, they would do so without hesitation, IMO.

Hate to break it you, but I'm with Putin. The barbarians eat the entrails of their prisoners. A little sarin scattered amongst their own people means nothing to them. They all go to allah and open the door for their relatives to enter paradise, remember?
