Civil rights lawyers filed the first known legal challenge Tuesday on behalf of 23 men, women and children seeking to overturn a 17-year-old state law effectively banning same-sex marriage in Pennsylvania, the only northeastern state that doesn’t allow it or civil unions.
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Harrisburg, also asks a federal judge to prevent state officials from stopping gay couples from getting married. It names Gov. Tom Corbett, Attorney General Kathleen Kane and three other officials.
The plaintiffs are a widow, 10 couples and one of the couples’ two teenage daughters. They include four couples who were legally married in other states but whose marriages go unrecognized by Pennsylvania.
Same-sex marriage is legal, or soon will be, in 13 states. The lawsuit seeks to legalize it in Pennsylvania and to force the state to recognize the marriages of same-sex couples who wed in other jurisdictions. …

But of course this is happening. The goal is court ordered 50 state homosexual marriage. Not surprising that a new round of lawsuits against various states is in the pipeline.
The ACLU announced today it was assaulting NC too. They didn’t waste much time.

bigamists and polygamists should demand to join in on the case. Heck, animal sex etc. should also join in.

Are you sick of hearing that slogan from liberals, that we need to accept everyone “no matter who they love”? I’M sure that is a focus group tested phrase, but they have driven it into the ground.
No matter who they love: Sister-Brother, Father-Adult Daughter, Twin Brother-Twin Brother.
All this because the cowardly SCOTUS punted rather than actually rule on the issues.
It IS a commonwealth in the mid-Atlantic region.

Simple - Marriage is between one man and one woman.
Just yesterday I received one of those junk ACLU fundraising letters with a postage paid envelope.
Stuffed it full of all of my "occupant" junk mail, including a glossy flyer for a tent revival around the lot of it, and sent right back.
They'll have to pay greater than 1 oz postage for an envelope full of trash.
