Root also said he may have taken different actions if he were in Zimmerman's situation, but said that "it's just a matter of what you as the individual view as options."

This idiot's obviously NEVER been in a fight. When you're fighting for your life, you don't sit there and take stock of the situation, weighing options. You fight with the entirety of your being.

This witness is a biased idiot.

Straddling the dummy. Is that a reference to Prosecution witness Jeantel?

Is it just me, or did anyone else notice, at the end of the prosecutor's dummy demonstration, that prosecutor John Guy basically gave up the case?!?!

I can't quote Guy verbatim in his question/statement to the witness, Mr. Root -- but it was something along the lines of affirming that Trayvon Martin was hunched over George Zimmerman at the time he was shot.

That's the defense's case!

When CNN's Ashley Banfield heard the prosecutor say that, she almost had a cow on air.

The Justice Dept and MSM will be 100% responsible for any riots when Zimmerman is found not guilty for organizing rallies, protest and a no-win trial before a jury.

If Tray was leaning over GZ, no more than 0.5 to 4 inches from the muzzle, and the gun was held at a steep angle (entered on the left and exited on the right side), he wasn’t “backing away” very quickly - or at all for that matter. If it was as the prosecution pretended Trayvon screaming for help, that leaves me wondering why he would bother. Why would a thug without a mark on him, beyond scraped knuckles from pounding on his victim, scream like he was in pain and being murdered, and remain within 4 inches of the muzzle for that long. The prosecution’s fiction makes no sense at all.

if it was possible that Martin was backing away from Zimmerman

We've had testimony that the gun was next to the clothing, doesn't like like there was much "backing away".

Well, that’s only fair. Trayvon was an oppressed black teenager, even when he was assaulting someone.
