Anything to get Zimmerman into prison where he can be murdered. Holder knows people.

I think the end of this country (became god forsaken) (abortion was a step down) when the corrupt court system and their sycophants killed terry Schiavo.

"What the jury does NOT know and will not find out is if they convict Zimmerman of manslaughter he serves life in prison"

Can the defense mention this during closing args?

The judge’s cajoling of Zimmerman ought to be grounds for a mistrial.

More like badgering than cajoling? It's sad when the judge doesn't know that she should address the defendant through his counsel......

And, quite frankly, it is none of her damned business whether the defendant testifies in his own defense.

“Analyst for CNN?”

Or MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC or even Fox, as much as they have swung to the left.

Dudess!

“....that’s an insult to Judge Judy! :)”

I haven’t seen much of her but from what I have seen she deserves the insult! ;-)

Not sure how it works..I dont think the jury can be told how much a person can be sentenced with each count

Zimmerman has defended himself against the charge of second degree murder. Now the judge says - we’ll charge you with manslaughter or aggravated assault. Doesn’t this involve more/different defense on the part of Zimmerman?

Perhaps this is standard operating procedure, but it seems unfair to Zimmerman. The prosecution did not make a case for second degree murder. There was no other charge. He should be acquitted. The time to make any and all charges is before the trial starts.

Well, I’m not crazy about that show, but from what I’ve read, This judge is incompetent to say the least.

And if the jury won’t convict him for *anything*, the judge will order Zimmerman to jail for six months for “contempt of court”, because she doesn’t think he should “get over”, and not go to jail or prison for *something*.

I'm sure Obama will come to the rescue with fed charges.

But with WHAT?

While GZ is waiting for his attorneys to sue MSNBC,CBS,ABC and CNN for defamation, yeah he can wait a couple of weeks in the can until he OWNS those "news outlets". Unless an "Obama son" can get him first.

I would think Obama would want zimmerman to go free. They want race riots and black people stirred up

There are no federal statutes to try Zimmerman under. He is not a government employee so civil rights violations do not come into play.

I don't doubt you're right, MrEdd, but when was the last time you saw Eric the Red renstrained by mere law?

I do not believe that she is incompetent. She is pro-prosecution/persecution.

That`s why in the closing, Mark O has to say at some point, manslaughter or assault still gets him heavy prison time. I know he is not supposed to say it, but there is a way to slip it in sounding almost unintentional.

The prosecutor will stand up and object, The crooked judge will spank him and tell jury to disregard, but I think it`s worth getting it out there in some fashion

Giving the judge the benefit of a doubt (which she doesn’t deserve, but just as an academic exercise) I wonder if she is intentionally throwing mistakes into the trial that will guarantee a reversal on appeal of Zimmerman is convicted.

The badgering about whether he would or would not take the stand is sufficient, in itself, to taint any guilty verdict that is handed down.
