Most Hispanics in Texas say 'no se puede' to abortion after 20 weeks!

The first phase of the "abortion restrictions" vote in Texas was very interesting:

"Lawmakers voted 98-49 for the bill on second reading and a third reading vote is forthcoming, likely tomorrow, but the same margin is expected. The vote today for conditional approval is four more votes for the measure than the last time the House approved the bill before Wendy Davis' infamous filibuster.

Five pro-life Democrats voted for HB2 including Guillen, Herrero, Martinez, Munoz, and Pickett while one Republican voted against it: Sarah Davis."

The Hispanic Democrats who voted for these restrictions are more representative of their communities than the sole GOP representative who voted against it.

Last week, Politico had a story about abortion and Hispanics in Texas: "There's just one problem: Latinos as a group oppose abortion more strongly than most other voting groups."

Frankly, I did not need a poll or story to confirm this. All you have to do is look at the number of Catholic, Christian and Jewish Hispanics who practice their faith each week.

Here is another one: Did you ever hear President Obama give a spirited defense of abortion in Texas?

forget amnesty to get Hispanics vote, concentrate on marriage and abortion and then we get most of their vote.

Still trying to get even some on here to mention social issues is a joke because even they are more liberal than some liberals

RE: Then WHY in the Name of all that’s Holy do these friggin’ morons vote for demonicRATs??? If you’re against abortion, don’t vote for politicians that support abortion!

People have HIERARCHY of importance when they vote. Abortion and Gay Marriage (because it seldom touches MOST people’s daily lives), don’t rank high in the hierarchy of importance.

It is the bread and butter issues that people mostly vote for and (rightly or wrongly), most Hispanics believe that democrats will take better care of them in this regard.

Sad but true.

No se puede? Is this French like yesterday? Is it a misspelling or do these letters actually mean something to someone. Spell check does not like them.

For the free stuff they think they might get or are getting....and by the way, calling people names does not help....certainly does not add any depth to your message.

Hmmm ... there's a bigger problem. Too many folks, not just "hispanics", think the government should take care of them.

Oh they are really good on this issue. The USCCB keeps telling us.
Theyre the future!

Dope slap

They consistently go for dems in elections

Hispanics went for BO 73%!

They are making a lot of things up with the media in pocket and i mean the huse GOP on whom this rests

In a parish i know if in tTX many families pulled out and their kids out of the school when told they cannot collude w abortion providing candidates by voting

They changed their lifestlyles over this

Thes numbers are bogus

A mexican legal immigrant i know tells that mexican catholics vote democrat here because the repubs in mexico are. The bad party

No matter whats going on here they vote dem even if it means losing friends and esucation

This article and headline are a lie

Ph. And its why th Church stays out of politics or they are supposed to. But they havent in this case they are very mistaken. And i do not mean the church the pope. I mean th USCCB

Cathiolics please write to them

Tell them to stay out ofatters of immigration and consult the catechism. It directs members to not give resources to illegal immigrants but to help them only under tge law

Most of them do hold traditional Catholic views on such things.

Perhaps we can use this to scare the Feminazis into derailing amnesty?
