this is “the quickening”

D.C. Passes Bill: Anatomical Males & Females Can Change Gender Lie About Their Sex on Birth Certificate

Fixed it!

Birth certificates record the SEX of the person, not the GENDER. Words have GENDER, people have a SEX.

Birth Certificates stopped having any meaning when they started reissuing them for adoptions. It used to be one had a birth certificate, and an adoption certificate. Then they changed it so adoption certificates went away, and the tru birth certificate was rescinded and replaced with a new birth certificate which listed the adoptive parents as the birth parents.

This was done a long time ago, because my half-sister was born in 1952 and adopted by my father when he married my mother in 1957. She had a reissued birth certificate listing my dad as the father.

Like many things, this was done for right reasons (to eliminate the stigma of adoption), but had unintended consequences. Then in the 1970s and 1980s all of these adopted kids started looking for their natural parents and there was no paper trail. Or worse, what about genetic risks associated with certain races and ethnic groups? What if a natural parent died of a congenital disease?

Now you can get a birth certificate reissued with a different gender, never mind how many X and Y chromosomes you have.

Facts do not matter.

What is next? Changing your birth race? Changing your birth date? Changing your birth location? Why not?

What if you want to change your species, like to a unicorn, or something?

This is so discriminatory, I see it being thrown out.

Did anyone notice that "Question Authority" morphed into "Question Reality"?
