DENVER - A man who worked his way up from pizza delivery man to Domino's franchise owner has been elected as the new Colorado House Minority Leader.
State Rep. Brian DelGrosso (R) will succeed Rep. Mark Waller. Waller stepped down from the leadership position to run for Colorado Attorney General.
"Brian is a tried and tested leader in the legislative process," Waller said.
"I am both humbled an honored that my colleagues have entrusted me with this new role," DelGrosso, of Loveland, said.
DelGrosso was born and raised in Cheyenne. He moved to Colorado after serving in the Air Force and the Wyoming National Guard.
DelGrosso delivered pizzas for a local Dominos Pizza and eventually turned that part-time job into a full-time career. DelGrosso now owns three Dominos Pizza franchises in the Windsor and Loveland area.
He joined the legislature in 2009.
Seriously, he's a great guy and this is the one piece of good news I've heard out of Denver this year.
Well they voted for weed, guess now they’re voting for munchies
I have never heard of Brian DelGrosso but I can appreciate his story. Thanks for sharing and I wish him well.
Now that’s what I call chasing the American Dream...and catching it.
This or a career politician? you decide
I expect this thread to turn into 'Domino's sucks! _____'s Pizza rules!' in 3...2...1...
I don't care for Domino's, but a legislator with profit and loss experience looks a lot more promising than the usual lifetime politician whose only "business" experience is feeding at the public trough.
Yeah, it’s nice to see how this thread is going, so far.
A business man not a stinking lawyer is ++++++++++++++
Dominos has 9000 stores. 93% of the company sold for a billion dollars to Bain Capital (Mitt Romney's company).
Founder Tom Monagham is very conservative.....founded Ave Maria University in Va.
Some good news out of Colorado for a refreshing change!
Domino’s is not my favorite but they have improved it. But I would prefer more politicians to be business men even if they run a 1 man lawn service. We need fewer attorneys.
AMEN BROTHER..!!!
I lived on Dominos and vodka for several months in 1986 Minnesota. Dominos can do no wrong. Vodka’s okay too.
Domino’s is edible but I prefer Wild Turkey 101 to Vodka.
Like to have a word with the bird, do ya?
Not anymore. But back in the day WT-101 straight up no ice 1 shot after every 3rd beer was what I called a rolling boilermaker.

By now everyone has eaten Dominos and knows what it is.
You either like it, eat some other store’s pie or order it because you know it will get there quick.
