Business groups paying Hillary $200,000 per speech for some reason

Hey, if she can get them to pay it, far be it from me to argue that anyone should stop it from happening. Supply and demand, baby. It’s the same reason I have no problem with ballplayers making more money than some guy working to cure cancer - because when private parties freely enter into an agreement, God bless them. And they are, as the Washington Post reports: In the six months since stepping down as secretary of state, Clinton has addressed apartment-complex developers in Dallas, private-equity managers in Los Angeles and business executives in Grand Rapids, Mich. Still to come are travel agents, real estate brokers, clinical pathologists and car dealers — collecting more than $200,000 per appearance, according to one executive who arranges speaking tours.

“For some reason”

It’s called a bribe.

Well, aren’t the fees basically a down-payment - to be followed by campaign donations - for favorable legislation from President Hillary? Since the advent of Obama, fascism is the name of the game, and - to be favored by the government, and hence exempt from onerous rules that apply to non-favored businesses - you have to pony up.

People also pay Paris Hilton $200,000 to show up at their party or club...Doesn’t mean she does or says anything of value. They want to waste their money on the brain dead so be it.

Paris Hilton is a (very uninteresting) celebrity, Hillary Clinton is a politician. So the speaking fees for Hillary probably have a different import.

These people are targeted and pressured to pay. It is a cross between a bribe and extortion.

Look at the businesses who paid big money and provided jobs to Clinton people when Bill was president. Enron, the dot coms who were committing fraud, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Citibank and several other fraudulent businesses contributed to the Clintons and gave his friends jobs.

The system is corrupt. The system is broken.

she just thought “cattle futures” were a good deal.

Getting paid for a future influence is a much sweeter deal.

I could get an almost unlimited number of out-of-work people to go tell lies for a fraction of what Hitlery! charges.

But most of them can’t lie anywhere near as well.

I’ll tell a bunch of lies and spout democrat talking points (pardon my redundancy) to the same people for 25% of what they’re paying her.

Apparently bribing Hillary is preferred by these corporate boneheads to returning the money to the shareholders.
