How do you like the jury requested instructions on manslaughter? This guy is screwed. I bet my brother $100 he will be convicted when this thing all started. We no longer live in a constitutional republic, we live under a mobocracy with the Treason party playing the mob like puppets.

It would seem odd to me that, given half the country thinks Zimmerman should be free, that they could get 6 people on a jury who would ALL vote to convict.
It is more often the case that guilty people are found not guilty, because of the burden of proof.
I find it hard to imagine that, in the end, judges on appeal would not eventually free zimmerman, on the simple fact that this is clearly a reasonable doubt as to self-defense, given that he was being beaten at the time.
If I were to add one thing to the defense closing, I would have pointed out this to the six women on the jury: “Imagine that you have been attacked by a young black man, and he is holding you pinned to the ground, and beating you, as the evidence shows was happening to GZ in this case. Now, imagine a white guy approaches, and that white man has a gun.
“What the prosecution is telling you today is — that white man has no right to use that gun to save you from the assault. If it was you, would you want the man with the gun to leave in fear of being thrown in jail — or would you applaud him for coming to your rescue”.
