Bill Cosby isn’t much better - he just (verbally) went after the Tea Party. He has gone after Limbaugh and others who do not support Obama and he is obsessed with imaginary racism against blacks.
Agreed. But, I’m not asking for a conservative black man to talk about responsibility....I’m talking about any black man with credibility talking about family, responsibility, etc.
I know most of us are conservatives on this site, but there are bigger issues here. Cosby made a push to shame black men into raising their children and he paid a price because he broke from the ‘man is keeping the people down narrative.’ That’s the sad thing...I don’t care what party he identifies with....his message was right on target and we need more folks like this if the black community is ever going to get their minds out of the 50’s.
I just heard an NAACP rep compare Trayvon Martin to Emmit Till (Till was brutally murdered by two white men in an obvious racist murder. The two white men were found no guilty in a show trial). It took my breathh away. Comparing this situation to an actual racist incident dimishes Emmit Till and makes the NAACP rep look absolutely stupid. This is the mind-set that will keep black people in the poor-house for another 100 years. Cosby can’t crack it. Who can?
