The case was about getting the facts before the public, not obtaining a conviction of someone she believed to be guilty. It was also damn funny to see the trial prosecutors very nervously (justified, considering that she'd she'd just told the world that it really was a show trial with them on stage with her) jump in with statements claiming they thought they really had a case that would result in a conviction ...

Who the hell was she kidding??? She concealed the facts of the case to the very end and only revealed then when forced to.
