I totally agree he did it to go after 'Gun Rights' - but my question is, was this a "two-fer" ? Generate hate in the urban areas for 'get out the vote' efforts next year?

I'm taking it, everyone else already had that figured out ... I'm kinda late to the game :)

Heard the CBS National News on the radio at the top of the hour. Their lead story was all the protests going on, making it sound as if the entire country is up in arms. Looking at news websites this morning offers the same. Problem is, the reaction wasn't even close to what the media had predicted or hoped for.

Regardless, the media has been given their orders and continue driving this story.

As others here have posted, this is a great diversion from all the scandals this administration has, and potentially a Democrat campaign issue for 2014 if handled right.

No, this is definitely a gun rights issue. What makes it worse is that two Rinos, AG Pam Bondi and Governor Rick Scott are totally in bed with them. Florida is a strong Second Amendment state and they had tried at the onset to have Stand Your
Ground stricken from law even though it had no connection to this case. It was obvious what they were trying to do. Civil right lawyers and liberal judges and prosecutors cannot stand these laws because it prevents racial agitaters from sueing innocent people in court for exercising their right to self defence. This whole thing was to do a end around the current law and set president. Now it’s time to punish these low lifes that use our courts because the can’t sell their snake oil.
