To: Iron Munro

I am perennially baffled that store owner/operators don’t think they have to allow employees to protect themselves. If they don’t value their own chinese merchandise that’s one thing but it’s disgusting that they leave employees bare handed. Why should your basic dumbass hold-up guy think it’s safe to hold up a store? I always told my own employees to shoot first if they were threatened-—we’d clean up the paper work later.

Good point.

It's akin to a school hanging a "Gun Free Zone" sign on the door.

I have a suspicion that the backroom bean counters are more concerned with insurance considerations.

I am generally angry and sad when I see a young woman working those stores late at night....no one should have to place themselves in such danger...
