I think this article missed the boat.

Civil rights include the ensuring of peoples’ physical and mental integrity, life and safety.

The State of Florida and FedGov have intervened in a local police matter and created an environment where GZ’s life is at risk.

I don't see any action the State of Florida or FedGov is taking to prosecute the criminals that are making credible death threats against GZ. This is a violation of GZ’s civil rights and he should sue the State of Florida and FedGov for violating his civil rights and claim damages for lost wages, mental anguish, etc.
