In the days leading up to the Major League Baseball All-Star game, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) erroneously called Washington Nationals manager Davey Johnson the manager of the “National Mets.”
Reid made the comments on the Senate floor July 11, during an argument about changing filibuster rules for presidential nominees.
