I don't believe that as he is now under the care of a doctor. - either physical medical or psychiatric. You can bash him because he's a Democrat but that doesn't change he may have a medical problem and from his quotes about this matter on Wicki, he appears to know now he did something that was inappropriate. If his brain is screwed, he'll likely do it again not knowing what he's doing.
You see, he was doing this pretty much out in the open, cornering women in a corner to kiss them without their consent and was doing it over and over. If he had all his faculties about him, he wouldn't have done it that way.
I would wait and see what happens to him medically.
On the day of an election in our county, someone came in our office, my husband was the chairman of the party, and said the county clerk was acting strangely, doing something she had not done before. I asked that person to describe that for me, then I told her I thought the clerk had a stroke. Within an hour, the clerk was taken to the hospital with a stroke. I used to psychologically test brain injured people which required me to be able to know how the brain reacts when there is an insult to the brain.
The mayor may be a sorry Democrat, but he doesn't have a record of sexual harassment charges (at least they weren't on that Wicki page) and the way he was doing this sounds more like a mental difficulty than a dirty old man.
I could certainly be wrong but maybe not.
