NAACP admits: Trayvon's past 'shaky'
WND ^ | 07/15/13 | Colin Flaherty

The first mistake the president of the NAACP in Norfolk, Va., made was saying that Trayvon Martin had a “shaky” past.

Then Tristan Breaux admonished his membership to react “logically, not racially” to the verdict.

This happened just as the lawyers prepared their closing arguments in the trial of George Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon. Zimmerman was acquitted over the weekend.

But the fury in response to the statements from Breaux started coming from Norfolk and around the country right away, and really hasn’t stopped.

WAVY-TV news tracked down a local city councilman:

“To the majority of the African-American community, I would find it offensive,” said Norfolk City Councilman Paul Riddick.

The station reported: “Tristan Breaux, 25, was sworn in as president of the Norfolk NAACP in January. He is the youngest president in the branch’s history, but members of the organization are calling for him to step down.

He does, though I have not seen a pic of my other brother Don quite so morose. And, God knows, he had cause.

The first mistake the president of the NAACP in Norfolk, Va., made was saying that Trayvon Martin had a “shaky” past.

He did.

Then Tristan Breaux admonished his membership to react “logically, not racially” to the verdict.

No, Mr. Breaux, they should react Racially to the verdict - like those nice protesters in Oakland, CA are doing!

the fury in response to the statements from Breaux started coming from Norfolk and around the country right away, and really hasn’t stopped.

and lets hear from a city counsil member on what Mr. Breaux said...

“To the majority of the African-American community, I would find it offensive,” said Norfolk City Councilman Paul Riddick.

Oh, yes Trevon Martin was minding his own business when George Zimmerman, A RACIST, wanted 5to murder him because he was black.

“Tristan Breaux, 25, was sworn in as president of the Norfolk NAACP in January. He is the youngest president in the branch’s history, but members of the organization are calling for him to step down.

They want him to step down because he is not LIBERAL ENOUGH!!

“members of the organization are calling for him to step down.”

He didn’t follow the narrative and is, therefore, a danger to the cause. They have no further use for him.

From the article:

Despite the efforts of prosecutors and activists to keep a lid on the troubled criminal past of Trayvon, his involvement with drugs and such is becoming increasingly well known. Twitter, Facebook, and toxicology tests have established Trayvon’s long and enthusiastic acquaintance with marijuana and codeine. Says Jack Cashill over at American Thinker: Trayvon, in fact, had become a devotee of the druggy concoction known as “Lean,” also known in southern hip-hop culture as “Sizzurp” and “Purple Drank.” Lean consists of three basic ingredients – codeine, a soft drink, and candy. If his Facebook postings are to be believed, Trayvon had been using Lean since at least June 2011. On June 27, 2011, Trayvon asks a friend online, “unow a connect for codien?” He tells the friend that “robitussin nd soda” could make “some fire a** lean.” He says, “I had it before” and that he wants “to make some more.” On the night of February 26, if there was some Robitussin at home, Trayvon had just bought some mixings for one “fire a** lean” cocktail. This strikes me as glaring evidence of serious abuse of office by the prosecutors. It strikes me as absolute evidence that Corey, Rionda, Guy, and the after-trial news conferences ...in which Corey has called Zimmerman a murderer and Rionda has reiterated his theory of wanna-be-cop attacking innocent teen...absolute evidence that they know now and knew all along, due to the discovery they withheld, that their entire prosecution was false, and that they unjustly persecuted George Zimmerman who told the truth about Trayvon Martin.

These lawyers should be disbarred and tried. The media is worse than yellow journalism, it blatantly lies.

In what a terrible state is our nation!

Are they ‘dissin’ the cameraman, or is it someone standing near the cameraman?

Do they practice that look?, Who is the choreographer?

What would Dr. Cal Lightman say?

(What would Dr. Jillian Foster say, hmmmmm?) ;-)

Shaky and shady. Something important, but not being mentioned: Trayvon liked to ‘go to the shoulders.’ He was a violent thug, a product of gang thug culture.
That’s the real reason he’s dead. Tristan—stop making sense!

Somehow and sadly, it makes perfect sense in the new Obama/Holder world that as the President of the NAACP works to achieve the ‘advancement’ of colored people, his membership would admonish him for doing so.

Sounds like left didn’t want a disincentive for violent behavior...

I hope these thugs learn fast - “going to the shoulders” outside of the ring results in death.

Probably not. Saint Trayvon had been living Miami until shortly before his demise. As far as I can tell, the Sanford burglaries had occurred before his arrival.

The NAACP held on to the lies for as long as they could but too many finally know just how “shaky” the punk’s past really was.

Think of all the evidence of his dark side that never made it before this jury — and yet without it they still found Zimmerman Not Guilty.

And the lawyers and the family and the media act as if because none of this stuff about Martin was presented in court in front of the jury, that it never happened and his memory is preserved??? Who are they kidding???

It’s the 600 pound gorilla in the room — we know and they know but we’re supposed to act stupid.
