If TM was white, he would have called 911 and said that some guy was following him and he needed an officer. The police would have come, defused the situation, and no one would have been:

- ambushed
- punched in the nose and broken
- slammed to the ground
- head smashed against the concrete
- shot in self defense

Being white is no guarantee of good behavior. We have plenty of trash in every race.

But in the US, a white young man beating up a “white hispanic” would not have made national news. It would not have resulted in a show trail pushed into place by public outcry.
