Alongside 1984, people should read Huxley’s Brave New World. And note the parallels between the created delta/Epsilons and their Alpha Lib creators.
Same story, different characters.
1984 was a control freak dystopia, while BNW was about a “utopia”, controlled by drugs.
Indeed, same lack of liberty, but in one, people were controlled by their fear of punishment, and the other people were controlled by their slothfulness and desire for empty pleasure.
To clarify, I meant same story (BNW) as we see today with the left having created a culture of idiots to carry out their will.
