maybe it is different to you there.

We did you do that virtual school as my oldest just did a class on that and it was stupid, he;d sit there for hours and ten enter only for the program to fail and he;d have to do it all over again.
The virtual teacher was a joke who knew nothing, the whole thing was a fiasco and a money maker for someone

We followed a formal curriculum at home. There was nothing wrong with it, but my daughter just doesn't care about academics. It's not that she isn't bright. She just doesn't care about the location of Madagascar, trains passing each other at 70 mph at 5:00 p.m., and reading old stories.

I can see her point.

Kids first need to learn to be good, then formal religion, and finally, basic academic skills, like reading and simple arithmetic. The rest is up to them.
